About OneWorldStandards

OneWorldStandards believes that trade based on social and environmental standards contributes to economic empowerment, social development and integrity of the world's natural resources. We are independent of specific standards and labelling schemes.  We are concerned only with the overall potential of any scheme to deliver social and environmental benefits.

Our staff and Associates have a wide range of experience in relation to social and environmental standards and standard setting, including work with leading international organisations such as the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), the International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movements (IFOAM), the Rainforest Alliance, The Climate Group and the International Social and Environmental Accreditation and Labelling Alliance (ISEAL).

OneWorldStandards Director, Matthew Wenban-Smith, serves on the technical advisory board of the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) and as Certification Program Director for Dovetail Partners, Inc.

OneWorldStandards is an Affiliate Member of the ISEAL Alliance.
